Large Group

We love the ways our community gets together to spend time seeking after God altogether! Our large group services are every Monday night during the school year starting at 8 PM in Reeve Union 212A. If you call Chi Alpha home, there are several ways you can give back to the group: giving financially, serving on our tech team, helping with  hospitality team, leading worship on worship team, setting up the room on Mondays with our Set-Up team, greeting people with the Welcome Team, serving on our prayer team, or being a part of our pre-service prayer each Monday @ 7 PM . Click the links below for the corresponding role/opportunity!

Tech Team

The Tech Team is responsible for running the slides for the service and to operate the sound board

Hospitality Team

The Hospitality Team is responsible for getting the tables together for the after party and getting the room set for the evening

Worship Team

The Worship Team is responsible for helping set the atmosphere through musical worship using their musical gifts and talents to glorify God

Prayer Team

The Tech Team is responsible for helping pray over students throughout the night, specifically during times of worship or when asked to pray for others

Set-Up Team

The Set-Up Team is responsible for helping transport the gear from outside of Reeve Union to our gathering space and getting set up for the evening alongside getting the place cleared after service

Welcome Team

The Welcome Team is responsible for inviting people into our gathering space and getting students to fill out the attendance cards

Giving

God asks us to be generous with our time and finances among other things.
God is generous, and He expects us to follow His example!

If you call Chi Alpha home, consider giving back through tithing to our group. When you give, you help support organizations we give to like feedOne, help fund students to come to Fall Retreat or SALT, and more!

Giving can be done through:

Small Groups

What is a small group? Why join a small group? Our vision with small groups is to create an opportunity for students to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and alongside each other. When we live and learn together, we grow closer as a community! Small Groups are places where we can dive into the Bible together, be vulnerable with each other about our lives, pray together, and grow together! Whether you are just beginning your journey with Jesus or are looking for a place to go deeper, we encourage you to check out a UWO Chi Alpha Small Group!
