We are Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship, also known as XA. We are a Spirit-empowered ministry that believes in living on mission as we help equip students to be leaders in their field and to make Jesus’ name be known! As a young adult or college student, we believe that there is a place for you to feel like you belong and a place to become closer to God.

Who We Are
We are a Spirit-Empowered, diverse community of believers on the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus, declaring in word and lifestyle of our faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that the university is one of the best places for people to come to know God and change the trajectory of their lives forevermore! We desire to make an impact at the university that will impact the marketplace, the Church, and the world. Community is built upon living life together as both core groups and a whole ministry to help others know God, grow with others, and to feel like people belong.
OUR name
Chi Alpha ([KAI] [AL-fuh])
The name “Chi Alpha” comes from the greek christou apostoloi, meaning “Christ’s ambassadors,” or “Christ’s sent ones.”
In the Bible, the apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:20: “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” Each of us who takes on the identity of a Christian becomes an ambassador for Christ. We all have a part to play in carrying God within us to bring people around us closer to Him.
